On the display, the charge level is shown as follows:

c) Assistance level
You can choose between several levels of assistance. Press the
"+" or "-" buttons to select a level. Each level of assistance
corresponds to an assistance mode. The lowest level is 0 and
the highest level is 5:

d) Pedestrian mode
When you are walking next to your bicycle, you
can choose to activate the pedestrian mode,
which is used as a walking aid. This mode activates
the motor even if you are not pedalling, however, this
assistance does not exceed 6 km/h.
Press and hold the "+" button to use this function. As soon as
you release the "+" button, the walking aid stops.
WARNING: Never use this function while sitting
on the bicycle! Only use pedestrian mode when
walking next to the bicycle.
e) Battery
The battery powers the motor of your bicycle, it is placed in a
wheel clamp on the downtube and it is directly connected to
the control box located on the handlebars.

Charging the battery
Refer to the battery description diagram for the location of the
charging connector.
If a power outlet is available near your bicycle, you can charge
the battery directly on the bicycle without having to detach it.
Otherwise, remove the battery from the bicycle (see previous
section).
