Tips for Proper Operation

•
If the cabinet has been excessively tilted during delivery or installation, allow 3 hours before
operation. This will allow the compressor lubricant to return to the oil sink.
•
Never connect the unit in a multiple socket outlet.
•
Never block the front bottom grid with products or other items. This will affect the air circulation
and drastically reduce the performance of the unit
•
Do not apply load, such as packs of products while loading the unit, on the front glass.
•
On closing hours, lower the night curtain (optional feature). This will switch off the lights and will
operate the unit on stand-by mode. Hence it would reduce power consumption during off-hours.
•
Avoid repositioning the unit when loaded with products.
•
Never reposition a rack when loaded with products.
•
Always unplug the unit prior to any cleaning or general maintenance task.
•
Should you observe an unusual operation (excessive noise, smoke etc.) unplug the unit and call
the service.
•
Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of
obstruction
•
Do not use electrical appliances inside the cooler, unless they are of the type recommended by
the manufacturer.
•
Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than
those recommended by the manufacturer.
•
Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
This unit contains live components. Service tasks should be carried out by trained personnel only.

4.1

CAREL Easy series

Your ICM is fitted with HEC controller, which has ultimate refrigeration controls and Energy Saving
capabilities. It is essential to know your HEC before starting the installation of the unit. It is
recommended to use factory settings for best performance. For more detailed info and technical specs
please refer to HEC user manual.
