SWITCHING ON / SWITCHING OFF
The mains voltage must match the voltage on the rating plate
of the saw.
Switch on the mitre saw only when cutting blade is away from
the material that is to be cut.
Switching on
• Press and hold the switch button (12) (fig. D).
Switching off
• Release pressure on the switch button (12).
CHECKING AND ADJUSTMENT ANGLE SETTINGS
It is necessary to check and adjust angles before starting to use
the tool, it will ensure precision of the process.
CHECKING AND ADJUSTMENT OF PERPENDICULAR POSITION
OF CUTTING BLADE AND WORK TABLE
• Loosen the head locking knob (9).
• Set the head in the extreme right position (perpendicular to the
work table) and tighten the head locking knob (9).
• Loosen the work table locking knob (8).
• Set the work table in 0
0
position and tighten the work table locking
knob (8).
• Press the cutting blade shield lever (11) and lower the saw head to
the extreme down position.
• Ensure the cutting blade is perpendicular to the work table (fig. E).
When making measurements make sure that measurement
device does not touch any cutting blade tooth, otherwise the
measurement may be inaccurate due to thickness of sintered
carbide insert.
In case the measurement angle is different than 90
adjustment is necessary:
• Loosen securing nut and turn the adjustment bolt (a) (fig. F)
clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or decrease cutting
blade (5) tilt angle.
• When perpendicular position of cutting blade and the work table is
set, allow the head to return to its upper position.
• Hold the adjustment bolt (a) and tighten the protection nut.
• Lower the head and check again that the angle previously set
matches readings on the head tilt scale (b) (fig. F).
Carry out similar adjustment for 45
adjustment bolt (d) (fig. G) located on the opposite side of the
extension arm.
SETTING THE TABLE FOR MITRE CUTTING
Rotational saw arm (head) allows for cutting the material at any angle
from the range of 45
0
left or right from the perpendicular position.
• Pull the head locking pin (15) that releases saw arm and allow the
saw arm to lift slowly to upper position.
• Loosen the work table locking knob (8).
• Turn the saw arm left or right so the required value is shown on the
angular scale (17) of the work table (19).
• Lock by tightening the work table locking knob (8).

Any angle can be set precisely with the use of angular scale that is
scaled every degree. Even though the scale is accurate enough for
most of performed tasks, it is recommended to double-check the
cutting angle with protractor or other device for angle measurements.
SETTING SAW ARM (HEAD) FOR BEVEL CUTTING
Saw arm can be tilted left at any angle from the range of 0
bevel cutting (fig. I).
• Pull the head locking pin (15) that releases saw arm and allow the
saw arm to lift slowly to upper position.
• Loosen the head locking knob (9).
• Tilt the saw arm left to desired angle that you can read on angular
scale (b) with the marker (c) (fig. F).
• Tighten the head locking knob (9).
If you need to set both angles (in both planes, horizontal and
vertical) for compound cutting, always set the bevel cutting first.
SETTING LASER GUIDING BEAM
Ensure the mitre saw is disconnected from power supply before
starting any adjustments.
Do not look at the source of the laser beam or its reflection on
reflective surface when setting laser guiding beam. Always switch
off the laser unit when the laser is not used.
Laser device assembly generates laser beam that projects line on the
material that shows how the material will be cut. Setting of laser line
projection was adjusted during production process. Nevertheless
check this settings before starting to cut for precise works.
• Set the turntable (19) to the position where the table angle marker
0
shows 0
on the scale (17), and marker for head tilt measurement
shows 0
0
on the scale for head bevel angle.
• Fix piece of waste material to the table (19).
• Make partial cut.
• Release saw arm and leave waste material fixed to the saw table.
• Set the laser (24) switch button to ON position 'I' (fig. H).
• Projected light beam should be parallel to the previously made kerf.
• If the beam is not parallel loosen the screw "d" that fixes laser
module and turn the module until the beam is parallel to the kerf
(fig.J).
• Tighten screw that fixes laser unit.
Dust arising from cutting may obstruct laser beam, therefore it is
necessary to clean the generator from time to time.
SWITCHING ON THE MITRE SAW
Before pressing the switch button ensure that the mitre saw is
assembled and adjusted properly and accordingly to instructions
from this manual. Switch on the mitre saw only when cutting
blade is away from the material that is to be cut.
Described mitre saw is designed for right-handed persons.
• Press the switch button (12).
• Allow the saw motor to reach full rotational speed.
• Press the lever (11) that releases blade protective shield.
• Keep your hands away from cutting blade.
