ROUBLESHOOTING
Solution
• You must press a line button to get a dial tone.
• Make sure AC power is plugged in correctly.
• Check hook switch. Does it pop up when handset
is picked up?
• Make sure phone line cord is connected.
• Check handset or speaker volume.
• Make sure handset cord is securely plugged
in.
• Make sure phone cord is securely plugged in.
• Make sure MUTE indicator is off.
• Make sure TONE/PULSE is set to correct position.
• Check RINGER VOLUME.
• Make sure ringer is turned on.
• Make sure Do Not Disturb feature is off.
• Could have too many phones on one line. (See
FCC registration information regarding REN)
• Check the volume settings .
• Is ringer off? Is Do Not Disturb feature active?
• You must press the line number to answer a call.
