The following sequence must be observed during assembly:
1. Strip the voltage-free line. Make sure that no individual wires are cut.
2. Use the Multi-Contact crimping pliers for the circular contact.
3. Push the crimped contact into the socket or plug insulator until it engages. Pull
gently on the cable to check that the metal component has locked into place.
4. Assembly test: Push a test pin the right way into the plug or the socket as far as
it will go. If the contact has been correctly assembled, the white marking on the
test pin will remain visible.
5. Tighten the cable gland using a Multi-Contact PV-MS assembly tool with 2.5 - 3
Nm.
Connecting socket and plug:
Connect the coupling components until they engage. Verify proper engagement by
squeezing the tabs by hand or with the PV-MS tool and separating the cable coup-
ling.

The DC connectors must not be separated under load. The DC circuit must be inter-
rupted with the DC circuit breaker.
