ROTARY KNOB
Off : Select Off to completely switch off the device.
Auto: This is the normal Automatic motion sensing mode, the lights will stay as long as unit detects motion, after the unit
no longer senses motion, it will turn off after 20 seconds.
ES: This is energy saving mode, the light on at 70% brightness for 15 seconds as long as motion detected. After unit no
longer senses motion, it will turn to 20% brightness for 45 seconds and then it will turn off after 20 seconds.
DUSK LEARN BUTTON
The light is preset to work only after dusk. If you want the light to work at a predetermined
"dusk" time, then you need to set it using the Dusk Learn button
Press the dusk learn button once to recalibrate the dusk level to the current light level. The motion sensor will now activate at
this light level from now on. If you want the light to work day and night, regardless of the light level, push the Dusk Learn
button while the unit is outdoors during the day or hold the unit up to a light source and push the Dusk Learn Button. Now the
motion sensor will turn on the lights day or night, regardless of the light level, the red LED indicator will blink once to let you
know it has reset the dusk level. To return the default setting, push the Dusk Learn twice within 2 seconds, the red LED
indicator will blink twice to indicate that you have returned to default setting.
Cold weather may affect
the performance of the
fixture. Alkaline batteries
can lose voltage when
temperatures near freezing
which will affect the
performance of the PIR in
your fixture. The fixture
will perform as expected
when temperatures rise.
Extreme hot or cold weather could affect the performance of the built-in sensors that detect body
heat. Certain winter clothing can shield a person's body heat from the sensor during extreme cold
weather. During extreme hot weather, the sensor may not be able to distinguish the difference
between normal body temperatures and the surrounding high temperatures. The sensor will begin
working normally once weather conditions return to normal.
Attach the security light to the
mounting plate by positioning the
security light above the mounting
plate. Engage the security light
into the grooves of the mounting
base until snug.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
MOTION SENSOR
The Motion Sensor is preset for 40ft distance and 15 second time and
can not be manually adjusted.
The light turns on when the motion sensor detects movement. Sensor
detects motion up to 40ft. The 180-degree coverage of the motion sensor
is measured side-to-side. The sensor is more effective side-to-side, rather
than motion coming straight at it (in-and-out). Fixed timer is 15 seconds –
lights will stay on for 15 seconds after motion detection (only during night
hours).
LIGHT ORIENTATION
The individual light heads can be adjusted
up/down and left/right to aim the light heads in
the direction desired.
The red LED low battery indicator inside the motion
sensor will light up when the batteries are low and need
replacing.
Refer to step two to replace batteries.
