activates at sundown and provides ~750 lumens of low light for either 3 hours, 5 hours or all night, depending on the setting. The Area Light Mode can also be shut OFF. The
Security Light Mode activates durring night time hours, but is only activated when motion is detected. When motion is detected the light output is boosted to ~2500 lumens of
full brightness. Please read the full instructions for more detail.
1. Shut off power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel before removing the old fixture or installing the new one.
2. DO NOT USE THIS FIXTURE IN A CIRCUIT HAVING A DIMMER CONTROL IN THE CIRCUIT.
3. This fixture can only be installed over a recessed junction box, OR a UL Listed surface mount electrical box rated for wet locations. Recessed electrical box
installations REQUIRE the outer edge of the wall canopy to be completely sealed with silicone RTV glue, and surface mount junction boxes require the use of the
foam gasket (included), to prevent water seepage into the wall canopy. Without sealing the canopy enclosure, water seepage can short out the driver, and cause
product failure, and/or other safety issues.
4. NOT FOR EAVE MOUNTING ONTO PERFORATED EAVE MATERIAL with a recessed junction box. Doing so can allow water to seep into the fixture canopy and result
in a hazardous situation and/or fixture failure.
5. LEDs can be damaged by electrostatic discharge shock. Before installation, discharge yourself by touching a grounded bare metal surface to remove this
hazard. For electrical requirements, see fixture.
6. Minimum 90°C supply conductors. For fixture electrical ratings, see fixture label.
7. If unsure if the junction box is properly grounded, or the box is plastic and has no ground wire, or are unfamiliar with the methods of properly grounding fixture,
consult a qualified electrician.
8. This security light uses passive infrared (PIR) technology to automatically turn on the light. Passive infrared does not detect motion, per se, but operates by sensing
differences in ambient temperatures, versus warmer objects in its field of view. As such, the sensor can be set off by a variety of other sources, including dryer
vents, hot tubs, and the like. Select the installation location carefully, and do not aim the PIR toward areas having frequent pedestrian or motorized traffic, and/or
other objects that generate areas of warmer air. All of these may trigger the motion sensor security light and may be disruptive to the intended operation of the light.
9. PIR sensors may not work as expected in conditions where there are temperature extremes; either very cold, or very hot outside. Because PIRs operate
by sensing differences in body temperature vs. ambient temperature, extremes in ambient temperature can affect the operation of the PIR.
10. PIR sensors are NOT capable of seeing through glass. As such, it is not recommended that light fixture be mounted behind a glass window, or door.
11. Do NOT install near other sources of light, which can fool the built-in light sensor into thinking it is daylight, and may prevent the proper operation of the light.

WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS
Fixture must be properly
grounded. Connect fixture
ground wire to ground wire in J-
box using wire nut (DD). These
wires can either be green or
bare copper. Insert black supply
lead into connector on black
fixture wires and white supply
lead into connector on white
fixture wires. Push excess wire
and wire connections back into
J-box. Orient sensor and light
heads properly to prevent water
from damaging the fixture.
