DESCRIPTION
The PMLN6635 Lightweight Headset with Swivel Boom
Microphone can be used to help maintain privacy in
two-way radio conversations. This lightweight accessory is useful
when high noise levels prevent the operator from hearing sound
out of the radio speaker. Additionally, this headset facilitates
hands-free use of the radio. The PMLN6635 includes an in-line
Push-To-Talk (PTT) switch for easier PTT access.

Wearing the Headset

To minimize interference and optimize headset performance, wear
the radio and headset so that the accessory cord will not cross
over or touch the antenna. The headset fits comfortably over the
head and can be adjusted to fit most head sizes. The headset
speaker can rest over the right or left ear. For hygiene reasons, it
is recommended that each headset user has and uses his/her own
speaker foam earpads. (See SERVICE section for Motorola
earpad part number.)
OPERATION
Attaching the Headset to the Radio
1. Turn the radio off.
2. Remove the side connector cover from the side of the radio,
attach the headset connector to the radio.
