SP 90 power surge and
lightning protector
Power surge protection
The power surge and lightning protector protects
connected electrical appliances from irreparable
damage by e.g. voltage surges from the main elec-
tricity supply or current and voltage peaks trigge-
red by indirect lightning strikes which penetrate in-
to the mains.
Power surge protection indicator
The operating indicator lamp indicates that power
surge protection is active. If it is not lit, it has absor-
bed the overvoltage and the connected appliance
will no longer be protected.
Directions for use
• Do not use the protector in a wet or oily environ-
ment or in the open air.
• Do not use the protector if the housing is dam-
aged.
• Check to ensure that the operating indicator
lamp lights up; only in this condition is the
protective function assured.
