NOTE: U is the A.C. mains voltage prior to application of the test level
Note 1: The VALO GRAND Corded curing light is not equipped with any ports or any accessible I/O lines.
Note 2: If there is a drop of 95% in Mains voltage VALO GRAND Corded curing light will not operate. It has no internal energy storage mechanism. The VALO
GRAND Corded curing light will turn off. When power levels are restored, VALO GRAND Corded curing light will restart and return to the same state before
power loss. The VALO GRAND Corded curing light will self-recover.
Guidance and Manufacture's Declaration for Electromagnetic Immunity for non-life support systems
The VALO GRAND Corded curing light is intended for use in the electromagnetic environment specified below. The customer or user should ensure that it is
used in such an environment.
IMMUNITY test
IEC 60601 test level
Conduction RF
3 Vrms
IEC 61000-4-6
150 kHz to 80 MHz
Radiated RF
3 V/m
IEC 61000-4-3
80 MHz to 2.5 GHz
NOTE 1 At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the higher frequency range applies.
NOTE 2 These guidelines may not apply in all situations. Electromagnetic propagation is affected by absorption and reflection from structures, objects and people.
<5% U
Mains power quality should be that of a typical residential, commercial,
(>95% dip in U for 0.5 cycle)
hospital, or military environment.
The Globtek 9VDC medical grade adaptor that is supplied with the
40% U
VALO GRAND Corded curing light operates from mains ranging from
(60% dip in U for 5 cycles)
100VAC – 240VAC and is capable of limited brown out, EMI, and surge
protection.
70% U
(30% dip in U for 25 cycles)
If the VALO GRAND Corded curing light user requires continued
operations without mains interruption, or the mains in any particular
<5% U
region of a country are considered bad due to continuous brown-out,
(>95% dip in U for 5 s)
black-out, or excessively noisy power conditions, it is recommended
Note 2: Self recovers
that the VALO GRAND Corded curing light be powered from an
uninterruptible power supply or the customer purchase a VALO GRAND
Corded curing light unit.
30 A/m
Power frequency magnetic fields should be at levels characteristic of a
typical location in a typical, residential, home health care, commercial,
hospital, or military environment.
Compliance level
Electromagnetic environment guidance
Portable and mobile RF communications equipment should be used no
closer to any part of the VALO GRAND Corded curing light, including cables,
than the recommended separation distance calculated from the equation
applicable to the frequency of the transmitter.
Recommended separation distance

150 kHz to 80 MHz
3 V/m
P is the maximum output power rating of the transmitter in watts (W)
according to the transmitter manufacturer and d is the recommended
separation distance in meters (m).
80 MHz to 2.5 GHz
Field strengths from fixed RF transmitters, as determined by an
electromagnetic site survey,

Interference may occur in the vicinity of equipment marked with the
following symbol:
