AWMR-230 MINI BUILD-IN SWITCH

1. Switch off the mains power (electric meter box) before installing this product
Continue with [2] for installation behind a single wall switch.
Continue with [5] for ceiling box installation.
2. Wall installation: Remove the existing light switch
Detach the existing light switch and disconnect the wires. Remember to which terminals the wires
were connected. Only connect lamps that do not exceed the max load: 230 W.
3. Connect the live wire and switch wire
Connect the (brown) live wire to the [L] contact. Connect the (black) switch wire to the [ ] contact.
Tighten the clamping screws. Contact an electrician when in doubt about wire colors.
4. Connect AWMR switch wires to the original wall switch
Connect the 2 white switch wires from the receiver to the previously used terminals on the original
wall switch.
5. Ceiling installation: Remove the existing lighting
Detach the existing lighting and disconnect the wires. The receiver will act as a replacement for
the existing wall switch. Only connect lamps that do not exceed the max load: 230 W. Contact an
electrician when in doubt about wire colors.
6. Connect the live wire to [L] and [ ]
Interrupt the (brown) live wire and connect the two parts to [L] and [ ]. It does not matter which part
is connected to which terminal of the receiver. Tighten the clamping screws.
7. Clamp down the 2 AWMR wires in a screw terminal
Isolate the 2 white switch wires from the receiver in a screw terminal.
8. Switch on the mains power (electric meter box) to continue the installation
Shock hazard! Do not contact any exposed wiring. Only touch the plastic housing of this product.
9. Activate learn-mode
Press the learn-button on the receiver for 1 second. The learn-mode will be active for 15 seconds and
the LED-indicator will blink slowly.
