Note: The toaster may emit a burning smell when it is being used for the first time
while the heating elements are warming up. This is not a hazard or a defect. Wait
until the appliance heats up and the smell disappears. When using the toaster for
the first time, it is advisable to switch on the toaster without inserting any toast.
Check that the product and the components are intact and that the appliance is
working properly when using it for the first time. Take the appliance out of the
package and remove all the packaging material. Before using the toaster for the
first use time, connect it to a properly wired power socket. Press the slide switch
down.
