7. Electrical connection

Figure 3 shows the position of the terminal blocks for
the control relay (connection of level switch) and the
alarm relay.

The socket function can be set at the terminal block.
See fig. 4.
• Cont.:
The socket is used as a feed-through socket.
• NO (normally-open contact):
The socket will be switched on in case of fault.
• NC (normally-closed contact):
The socket will be switched off in case of fault.
This is the default setting for stop of a washing
machine.

8. Technical data

Enclosure
Flame-retardant polystyrene according to UL 94 V-0
or 94 V-2, impact-resistant, bicolour, with integrated
socket (can be switched on or off), two cable glands
with cable relief, 2 x M12 x 1.5.
Power supply
230 V, 50 Hz, short-circuit-proof safety isolating
transformer.
No-load power consumption: 0.2 VA.
Power consumption in case of alarm: approx. 2 VA.
Input
Potential-free normally-open contact, min. 24 V,
75 mA.
Output
Potential-free contact, 3 A, 250 VAC or 3 A, 30 VDC,
short-term 5 A.
An acoustic alarm signal is possible by means of a
piezoelectric buzzer with a tone sequence signal of
97 dB/1 m.
Ambient temperature
0-40 °C.
Dimensions
140 x 60 x 90 mm.
9. Disposal
This product or parts of it must be disposed of in an
environmentally sound way:
1. Use the public or private waste collection service.
2. If this is not possible, contact the nearest
Grundfos company or service workshop.
