Operating instructions

Initial use (Fig. I-V]
Before initial use, charge the battery
completely.
Also if not used for a long time,
completely charge the battery.
Prior to initial use, remove both insulating films!
To do this, switch off the LED lamp and unscrew
■
the lamp head [1] and lamp rear part [4] from
the power module [3].
Do not press the on/off switch [2]
during assembly!
Only screw the power module [3] and
lamp head [1] hand tight!
When assembling, first connect the lamp rear
part [4] to the power module [3].
Then screw the lamp head [1] on to the power
module [3].

Charging
Connect one end of the mains plug [II] to the

charger [III]
Connect the charger extension cable [III] to the
■
cable of the magnetic charging socket [IV]
Plug the mains plug [II] into a suitable mains
■
outlet (note the mains voltage)
3 The blue marker light of the charging so-
cket [IV/7] illuminates
Connect the concentric charging contact at
■
the end of the LED lamp [5] with the magnetic
charging socket [IV/6]
3 The charger display [4] (narrow ring on the
lamp barrel) illuminates in red
3 Charging commences
Charging is complete as soon as the charging
■
display [4] changes from red to green
The power module [3] (lamp barrel with Xtreme
power battery) can also be charged without the
lamp head [1].
Switch off the LED lamp before disconnecting
■
the power module [3] from the lamp head [1]
Charging fixture
The charging fixture [V] can be secured to the wall.
The magnetic charging socket [IV/6] can be
■
locked in the cylindrical part of the charging
fixture [V/9] by turning it a couple of degrees
in a clockwise direction
If the emergency light function is
activated, it is recommended that the
charging fixture [V] is secured so that
the blue marker light points down-
wards.
Press the LED lamp securely into the charging
■
fixture [V] and, if necessary, provide additional
securement using the safety clip [V/8]
(e.g. when using in vehicles)
The LED lamp can also be charged
with the optionally available 12/24 V
DC vehicle adapter
(Art. 0827 806 010) via a vehicle
socket.
