Thank you for purchasing one of our products. We recommend you carefully read this instruction manual: it
contains important information regarding safety regulations for use and maintenance of the appliance. It is also
recommended to keep this document carefully to consult in case of necessity.
1. KEEP THE TORCH OUT OF THE REACH CHILDREN. THIS APPLIANCE IS NOT A TOY.
2. Read these instructions for use carefully to familiarize yourself with the appliance before refill it. Keep these
instructions for future reference.
3. Do not modify the appliance.
4. DO NOT USE APPLIANCES THAT SHOW PROBLEMS OR LEAKS OR MALFUNCTIONING
5. This appliance should be used in sufficiently aerated places in accordance with national regulations in force
in terms of flow of air for combustion and the possibility of accumulation of unburnt gas.
6. Ignite away from face and clothing.
7. The appliance should be operated away from flammable materials.
8. When filled, it will contain flammable gas under pressure.
9. Do not expose the torch over 40°C / 104°F and to prolonged sunlight.
10. Do not puncture or put in fire.
11. Please ensure the flame is off after use.
12. The torch nozzle will become extremely hot during and after operation. Please, protect yourself from
accidental burns.
13. Do not keep lit for more than 1 hour.

16. In case of leakage of your appliance (gas smell) immediately bring it outside, in a very ventilated local,
without sources of flames, where the leakage can be found and stopped. If you want to check the leakage of
your device, do it outside. Do not seek the leakage with a match, but use water and soap (revelgas cod.
1726).
17. Storing the appliance in well ventilated area and ensure the flame is over after the operation.
18. Use only Kemper original spare parts.
• Fill only with butane gas (our item 10051). It may be hazardous to attempt to fit other types of gas.
• Refill in a well-ventilated area, away from flame, combustible materials and
other person.
• Please make sure the fire is off before refilling.
• Placing the pocket torch in an upside-down position, insert the gas canister into
the torch refilling valve
• Fill slowly. Do not overfill. When gas start to flow out, stop filling
• After filling, wipe lighter and hands dry before igniting.
• The refilling operation takes some minutes to allow the gas to stabilize.
• For next refilling, let the torch cool down for 5 minutes before filling the tank.
Remove the cap and release the safety lock by turning the lock clockwise (F: functioning – S: stop) the lock
clockwise (F: functioning – S: stop).
Select the desired flame turning the gas adjustment dial between – and +.
Press the ignition trigger (it may takes two or three times).
Releasing the trigger will extinguish the flame automatically.
After the use, remember to use block the ignition turning the lock counterclockwise and always place the cap
on the burner.
