Electrical voltage
Mounting, installation and servicing
work on electrical devices may only
be performed by a suitably qualified
electrician.
Electrostatic charging
As a result of electrostatic charging,
direct contact with the circuit board
can result in destruction of the
device. Direct contact with the circuit
board must therefore be avoided.
Note
• Do not fasten the screws with
excessive tightening torque.
If a batterydriven screwdriver is
used, the torque must be limited to
< 1.5 Nm.
• When converting to the door loud
speaker Plus, the associated product
information must be observed for
installation.

Dismantling
Modules may only be exchanged by
specialist personnel when the equip
ment is not live, i.e. when discon
nected from the mains.
1 Release the operating panel using
the mounting key and remove.
2 Unscrew the function units at the
mounting plate, tilt forward at the
top, remove from the mounting
plate and release the connecting
plug.
3 Unscrew the special screws on the
mounting plate.
4 Remove the mounting plate with
protective hood from the flush-
mount housing and unplug the
connecting cable on the connection
pcbs.
5 Unscrew the protective hood from
the mounting plate and remove the
installation pcbs.
Also remove the remaining con
nection pcbs in the flush-mount
housing.
6 Schematic structure
Mounting
Fit the connection pcbs from the
retrofitting kit in the flush-mount
housing and carry out installation
according to the circuit diagram.
7 Fit the installation pcbs onto the
mounting plate. Solder the SATLM
installation pcb to the buttons. Plug
in the connecting cable and guide
it through the protective hood
opening. Screw the protective hood
to the mounting level.
8 Plug in the connecting cable on
the connection pcbs and insert the
mounting plate with protective hood
into the flush-mount housing.
9 Secure the mounting plate using
the special screws.
10 Connect the connector plugs of
the function units to the installation
pcbs. Insert and screw the function
units.
11 Place the operating panel on the
mounting panel and lock using the
mounting key.
The marking in the mounting key
must be flush when locked with the
upper edge of the operating panel.
12 Measurement points
The measurement points of the
functional units which are located
parallel to the terminals are acces
sible when mounted. For measure
ments, the test shaft cover must be
removed. After measuring, replace
the test shaft cover.
