3. Wireless Link Connected with Host indication is provided
upon successful link establishment (refer to Table 3 on
page 9).
Note:Please refer to the host manual to put the host in pairing mode.

PTT

Press the PTT button on the wireless device to initiate
transmission.
When a wireless device has been paired with the radio/
adapter, the wireless device continues to communicate with the
radio/adapter upon the next power up. Refer to the radio/
adapter user manual for more details on the pairing
programmable options.
If the Wireless Device has been paired with a radio/adapter
and needs to now be paired with a different radio/adapter, the
Wireless Device is required to clear its previous pairing
information. This can be achieved by pressing the PTT on the
Wireless Device while powering it on. Refer to "Pairing Your
Audio Device" on page 8 to re-establish wireless connection.

LANGUAGE OR TONE SELECTION

1. Power OFF the wireless device.
2. Power ON the wireless device while pressing the PTT
Button simultaneously until the prompt to select language.
3. Press PTT Button to select designated language or tone.

VOLUME CONTROL

The Mission Critical Wireless device has 8 volume levels. The
volume level is controlled using the Volume Up/Volume Down
buttons on the audio POD and/or Standalone PTT Device
(refer to Table 4 for volume indicators).
