PLEASE NOTE!
In this 'manual' mode, the selected value is only achieved with
clean filters. As the filters become polluted, the fan will not run
faster to compensate for this, so the sound of the fan will
remain constant. As less and less air passes through the filter,
the sound of the air flow will lessen.
Only one button can be selected at a time, so to make a different choice, the
previous choice must first be deselected. The button shown in green is the
active choice.
When the 'apply' button is pressed, the command is sent to the
selected units.
When you press this button,
the 'AUTOMATIC' screen appears:
The fan is set to a fixed flow rate and in this case the fan does compensate
for a polluted filter. This will cause the fan to run faster and faster as time
goes on, in order to continue to provide the set flow rate. This also means
that the DFI will become louder and louder.
On this screen you can select which units you want to set the speed for.
When you press a number, the button turns green to indicate that the
number has been selected.
Now, when you press the 'set speed' button, the following screen opens:
On this screen you can select the speed at which the fan will run.
For example, if 3000 is selected, the fan will run at the speed required to
achieve an air flow of 3000 m3/h through the filter.
PLEASE NOTE!
In this 'auto' mode, the fan runs faster and faster as the filter
becomes more and more polluted, in order to maintain the
selected flow rate. The fan will therefore become louder.
