The temperature and air speed settings remain
unchanged.
When picking up the dryer again you can
recommence drying and styling the hair at the
previously selected setting.
If you do not wish to use this facility, you can
switch this function of by means of the Autosensor
on/off switch.
The Autosensor function is switched on again
automatically when switching on the dryer from O
position.
Autosensor on-off switch with pilot light D
If the Autosensor is switched on and the appliance
is put down, the pilot light will start to flash.
When the appliance is picked up again the light
will illuminate continously.
The Autosensor function can be switched off by
pressing the switch once. Then the pilot light
below the knob will neither illuminate nor flash.
If you press the knob a second time the
Autosensor function is switched on again.
Concentrator I
If you wish to aim (or "concentrate") the exhaust
air stream, you can fit this nozzle to the air outlet
opening.
The concentrator nozzle is of professional design
and has a very narrow opening. This enables you
to direct the airflow exactly to the brush with which
you are styling your hair.
Care diffuser J
The diffuser has been especially developed to
gently dry both straight and curly or wavy hair. Its
design allows the air to be spread over the whole
surface. As a result, the diffuser generates a soft
and gentle airflow, which dries the hair quickly.
The diffuser allows you to create a bouncy and
softly flowing hairdo.
Adding volume to the hair close to the scalp:
Insert the pins into the hair until they touch the
scalp. Then make rotating movements with the
appliance to spread the warm air evenly across
the scalp so that the hair dries from the roots
upwards.
Curled hair:
For hair with curls or waves hold the diffuser at
10-15 cm distance from the head to let the hair
dry gradually. While this happens you can model
your hair with your free hand or with a coarse-
toothed comb.
When using your hand, you can best knead the
hair to model the curls and waves while drying.
Doing so you prevent the curls from dropping out
or becoming frizzy.
Long hair:
You can dry long hair by stretching it on the
diffuser. You can also dry it by combing it
downwards with the pins of the diffuser.
Tips
Drying
• The various temperatures and air speeds can
be selected independently, so that you can set
the hair dryer exactly as you require.
The appliance offers six different setting
possibilities for this purpose.
• While the hair is still wet, you can dry it with a
high air speed and a high temperature. If the
hair is only damp and if you wish to style it,
select a lower air speed and temperature.
• Moreover you can fix a curl by pressing the cool
knob. The air stream will become cool so that
the curl is "secured".
When the cool knob is released again, the air
stream will turn to the preset temperature.
Modelling
• Before modelling the hair it is advisable to dry
the hair a little with a towel first. Then apply a
styling mousse.
• To add volume close to the scalp you can use
the diffuser. The diffuser is also suitable for
drying longer hair.
With the long pins of the diffuser you can
already comb the hair in the required direction
while still drying to facilitate later modelling.
• If you use curlers or a styling brush, you can
mount the concentrator nozzle to dry with a
very effectively aimed air stream.
• When the curl is almost dry, you can fix it by
blowing cool air onto and through the curl,
holding the cool knob pressed in. The curl will
then keep its shape longer.
• If your hair is long and sleek, it will look fuller
and become more shiny if you brush it while
drying.
You can also dry and brush it in turn.
