How to proceed:

1. Fill the aquarium with tap water up to about 5 cm
below the cover.
2. Cut open the "Water Conditioner"" bag and sprinkle
the contents into the water.
3. Switch on the aerator pump; after the pump has
been running for at least 24 h, sprinkle the contents
of the "Biological Booster"" bag into the water.

Possible consequences: Eye injury due to light flash.
• Never look into the light source.
N O T E
Never operate an air connection by itself, i. e. without
the tube and aerator connected.
How to proceed:

1. Switching on: Insert the plug-in transformer into
the socket.
– Check that the cables form drip loops.
– The aerator pump will switch on immediately.
2. Additionally actuate the ON/OFF switch of the light-
ing unit to switch it on.
3. Switching off: Disconnect the plug-in transformer.

How to proceed:
• Switch on the lighting unit with the ON/OFF switch.
Programming the biOrb Moonlight LED

The mode is set using the programming button on the
underside of the cover ring.
How to proceed:
The mode changes in the following sequence when the
program button is pressed once:
• From "Daylight" to "Moonlight"
• From "Moonlight" to "Automatic"
– Automatic is activated when the white light 3 ×
flashes.
• From "Automatic" to "Daylight"
The brightness values for switching from daylight to
moonlight and vice versa are factory set.
The brightness values can be individually adjusted. The
settings are retained when the unit is switched off or
the mode is changed.
Prerequisite:
• "Daylight" is activated.
How to proceed:
1. Wait until the desired amount of light is reached in
the room for switching to "Moonlight".
2. Press program button 1 × and keep it pressed until
the blue light 3 × flashes.
3. Release the program button.
– The brightness value is saved.
– "Automatic" is activated.

How to proceed:

1. Carry out further settings with the aid of the remote
control.
– When the lighting unit is switched on and off with
the ON/OFF switch, the current settings for the
mode and "Automatic" are retained.
• Pull out the small plastic strip before using the re-
mote control for the first time.
• Switch on the lighting unit with the ON/OFF switch.

Green (G), blue (B) respectively, or colours
other than these 3 basic colours. 15 predefined

lecting the light colour.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Cleaning and maintenance work:

Together with the filter cartridge.
Filter cartridge. Replace every 4 to 6 weeks depend-
ing on the number of fish.

Aerator pump Replace every 12 months if neces-
sary.
