WARNING
• When the outgoing air is carried back into the
room, a sufficient ventilation rate L in the room
must be ensured. To comply with the required
limit values, the carried back volume flow must
be 50 % of the fresh air volume flow (room
volume VR x ventilation rate LW) at maximum. If
there is no specific ventilation system the follow-
ing applies: LW=1h–1.
• Only persons trained in the use of the machine
and the handling of substances for which the
machine is to be used including training in the
safe disposal of the sucked-in material may use
the machine.
• This appliance contains harmful dust. Evacuation
and maintenance work, including the disposal of
the dust collection containers, may only be per-
formed by specialists who wear the appropriate
protective equipment.
• The device must only be operated when the filter
system is completely installed.
• Please follow the safety regulations applicable
to the materials that are to be treated.

• This product is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with physical, sensory or
mental disabilities or persons lacking the appro-
priate experience and/or knowledge.
• Only persons who are familiar with it, who have
been trained on how to use it safely and who
understand the resulting hazards are permitted
to use the device.
• Children must be supervised so that they do not
play with the device. Do not allow unsupervised
children to clean the device or to carry out
user-maintenance tasks.
• Do not use the device to vacuum up flammable
and/or explosive dusts (magnesium or alumin-
ium dust etc.) or dusts that constitute a health
hazard. Do not use the device to vacuum up
materials with a temperature of over 60 °C (e.g.
glowing cigarettes, hot ash).
• Never use water, oil, fat or other cleaning
products.
• Do not use cleaning solvent or other flammable
liquids for cleaning.
Safety instructions
• During cleaning or maintenance and when
replacing parts or converting the machine to an-
other function, with battery powered machines,
the positive or negative terminal of the battery
must be disconnected at a minimum. Alternative-
ly, an equivalent method must be used (use of
an isolating device). For SELVs, both terminals
must be disconnected.
• Covers of non-dust proof compartments should
be removed for cleaning.
Safety instructions referring to
LI-ION BATTERIES
Read and understand all safety precautions and
instructions. Failure to observe safety precautions
and instructions may lead to electric shock, fire
and/or severe injury.
Observe the special regulations and instructions
applicable to the transport, storage and use of
Li-ion batteries.
• Only use the battery with your charger designat-
ed for it.
• Using other chargers may lead to injury or fire
hazard.
• Do not connect the rechargeable battery to
a power socket or your car's cigarette lighter
socket.
• Avoid dangerous surroundings.
• Do not charge the replaceable battery outdoors
exposed to rain or snow, nor in humid or wet
locations.
• Do not use the replaceable battery or the
charger in explosive atmospheres (i.e. in the
presence of gas vapours, dust or inflammable
substances).
• Only store in cool and dry places and protect
against moisture, rain and humidity. Do not store
the replaceable battery in locations in which the
temperature can rise above 50 °C; e.g. in direct
sunlight.
• Protect the battery from light (e.g. continuous
intense sunlight), fire, moisture and humidity.
Explosion hazard!
• Do not store the battery together with metal
objects (risk of short circuit if metal contacts the
positive or negative terminal of the battery). Do
not store the replaceable battery near objects
which could cause a short circuit, such as coins,
keys, nails or screws.
