- with the authorised original
saw chains for sawing wood
in the house and garden.

The power tool is not designed
for commercial use.
Any other use is not as intended.
Improper use is not covered
by the warranty and the
manufacturer will reject any liability.
The user is liable for any injury
to third parties and/or damage
to their property.
Unauthorized modifications made
to the appliance rule out any liability
on the part of the manufacturer
for damage resulting therefrom.
Observe the safety and
operating information
Before using the appliance for
the first time, read and follow these
operating instructions carefully.
Keep these instructions in a safe
place for future reference.
Never allow children or other per-
sons to use the appliance who do
not know the operating instructions.
If the appliance changes ownership,
hand over the operating instructions.
General safety information
- Follow all safety instructions!
If you ignore the safety instruc-
tions, you are endangering
yourself and others.
- Do not use the power tool unless
it is in perfect working order.
If the power tool or a part of it
is defective, it must be repaired
by a technician.
- Do not use the power tool in poten-
tially explosive rooms or near
combustible liquids or gases!
- When the power tool is switched
off, always secure it to prevent
it from being switched on uninten-
tionally.
- Do not use power tools if the
On/Off switch does not function
properly.
- Keep children away from the
power tool! Store the power tool
safely out of the reach of children
and unauthorised persons.
- Do not overload the power tool.
Use the power tool only for the
purposes for which it is designed.
- Always use the required personal
protective equipment.
- Always work with care and only
when in good health: Behave
responsibly. You cannot use the
power tool safely if you are tired,
ill, under the influence of alcohol,
medication or drugs.
- This appliance is not intended
for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and know-
ledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their
safety.
- Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
- Always observe the valid national
and international safety, health
and work regulations.
- Spare parts and accessories must
satisfy the requirements specified
by the manufacturer.
Therefore use original spare parts
and original accessories only
or spare parts and accessories
authorised by the manufacturer.
- All repair work must be conducted
exclusively at a specialised
garage.
Raynaud's disease
(vibration white finger)
- The frequent use of vibrating
power tools may damage nerves
in people whose blood circulation
is impaired (e.g. smokers, diabe-
tics). In particular, fingers, hands,
wrists and/or arms may show
some of the following symptoms:
Pain, tingling, stabbing, numb-
ness of body parts, skin turning
pale.
- If you notice unusual impairments,
stop working immediately and
consult a doctor.
You can significantly reduce
the risks by following these
instructions:
- Keep your body, and in particular
your hands, warm in cold weather.
Working with undercooled hands
is the main contributing factor!
- Take regular breaks and move
your hands. This will stimulate
your blood circulation.
