2.1 Belt adjustment, harness position
Thread the straps through the
buckle as shown in the picture.
Adjust the length of the belt as
required. They should be as short
as possible. The correct length is
when the person can be lifted on
a level with the lower part of the
chest.
A belt of the correct length permits
easier lifting and rotating of the
person in and out of the car.
Place the harness with the belts as
shown in the picture.
It is important that the harness
should be placed under the armpits
and as close to the groin as pos-
sible.
