MBX System Pneumatic
Air supply and connection
This air tool is designed to operate at 90 PSI (6 bar) maximum air pressure at the tool, when the tool is running. Less
pressure prevents the tool from delivering its rated power. Air pressure over 90 PSI will cause the tool to operate at an
excessive rate of speed.
The air supply must be water-free. Use a water trap to remove condensation. Using an air hose that is too long will prevent
the tool from receiving specified air pressure. Using an air hose of the proper length will provide correct tool performance.
We strongly recommend using an air line lubricator to insure proper operation and long life of the air motor. Refer to Fig. 1.

Lubrication
When the tool is new, be sure to lubricate air motor before use. If in-line lubricator is not used, add a few drops of light oil
into the air inlet daily, Proper lubrication may extend the life of the tool.
Operation
Warning: Always disconnect tool before attaching or removing accessories. Use only MBX accessories.
Others may be hazardous.
1. Use suitable sealing material such as Teflon® tape to attach the vertical grip and air hose connector.
2. Choose the suitable MBX brush belt, depending on the surface and the material you intend to remove.
3. Disconnect the air supply and assemble the MBX belt 23 mm or 11 mm to the tool correctly with the corresponding
adaptor and the specified screw. See Fig, 2.
4. Never insert a MBX brush belt 11 mm into a MBX adaptor
23 mm, and never insert a MBX brush belt 23 mm into a
MBX adaptor 11 mm.
5. Start the tool by depressing the throttle lever and tilting the
safety lock t forward. The throttle lever and safety lock will
return to the off position when released.
6. Hold the tool by both the body and the vertical grip.
7. Apply proper pressure on the surface.
8. Always wear recommended protective gear, including goggles, face mask, gloves, and clothing, and always keep the
work area clean when operating the tool.
