Operating Instructions
Warning: To reduce the risk of injury, always wear safety goggles or glasses with side shields, gloves and dust mask.
Refer strictly to the "Safety Rules".
If the tool does not operate correctly, check the following:
Are you using a suitable brush belt for the surface and the material you intend to remove? – Choose the most suit-
able brush belt.
Are you using a well-sharpened brush? – Re-sharpen the bristles.
Is the tool spinning at the specified speed? – Check the tool against the tool Problems and Solutions provided below.
Is the surface covered with oil or grease? – Clean the surface to remove all oil and grease.
Is the material you intend to remove still wet? – Wait for the material to dry completely. .
Are you using the knee-style brush in the wrong direction, so that it causes scratching? – Assemble the brush belt so
that it turns in the correct direction.
Remarks
The life of the rotor blades depends upon proper lubrication.
The high-speed movement of the internal parts will cause the tool to become warm, but this
is normal and not a breakdown.
