System components
The FE 8200 receives wireless signals from as many as 8 STEINEL wireless transmitters with different
addresses and then switches connected loads (e.g. a light) 'ON' and 'OFF'. The wireless receiver only responds
to transmitters that have first been assigned to it. For further information on setting transmitters and receivers,
please refer to the instructions of the IMPULSER system.
Safety precautions
■ Disconnect the mains power before attempting any work on the unit!
■ During installation, the electric power cable being connected must not be live. Therefore, switch off the
power first and use a voltage tester to make sure the wiring is off circuit.
■ Installing this wireless receiver involves work on the mains voltage supply. This work must therefore be car-
ried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with nationally applicable wiring regulations and electrical
operating conditions ( D -VDE 0100, A -ÖVE-ÖNORM E8001-1,
-SEV 1000).
■ The wireless receiver must not be used if unsupervised operation of the connected load may present a hazard.
■ Do not dismantle the unit yourself. It must only be repaired by a specialist workshop.
■ The aerial must be left in the protected position. The aerial must not be routed out of the concealed box.
