DIRECTIONS FOR USE

KIT safety system is a device for securing a carrycot unit in a car, to transport children
up to 10kg/ 22lbs in weight (approx. 0 to 9 months).
The device is used to position the carrycot either in the middle of the car rear seat or
to one side using the adapter approved to ECE - R44 / 04.
In the case of a collision, this system will restrain the carrycot and child.
N.B. Always prevent the vehicle seat belts from being crushed by reclining seats or
being trapped by the car doors.
This system should always be used with the interior liner of the carrycot in place.
This system is only suitable for vehicles fitted with lap / 3 point / static / with
retractor safety-belts, approved to ECE Regulation No. 16 or other equivalent
standards.
Straps holding the restraint to the vehicle should be tight, and any straps
restraining the child should be adjusted to the child's body, and are not twisted.
Luggage or other objects liable to cause injuries in the event of a collision should
be properly secured.
FASTENING AND USING
1 - First take the shoulder protectors separately.
I) Pass shoulder protector (A2) through interior liner (K) shoulder slot.
II) Pass also through mattress (T) and carrycot plastic backrest (S).
III) Then pass back through the equivalent slots on the other side.
IV) Coming out the other side. Make sure that it is not twisted.
2 - Then pass metal bracket (B1) of shoulder strap (D1) into shoulder protector (A1).
3 - Make sure that that shoulder strap is not twisted.
4 - Then insert metal bracket (B1) into interior liner shoulder slot.
5 - Pass through mattress and carrycot backrest.
6 - Then pass metal bracket (B1) through carrycot base.
7 - After passing through the base of the carrycot, make sure that metal bracket (B1)
lies flat against the carrycot base.
8 - Then repeat steps 2-7 with the other metal bracket (B2) and shoulder strap (A2).
9 - Make sure both brackets are secure.
10 - Now pass metal bracket (B3) of crotch strap through interior liner, mattress and
carrycot base.
