Using the fine tooth blade
The fine tooth blade (6) can be used for
general cutting purposes.
Always place the food to be sliced on a
plastic or wooden cutting board. Never
use metal or ceramic cutting boards.
Allow cooked meats to stand for 10 to
15 minutes before slicing. This allows
the juices to set and makes carving
easier and neater.
Do not force the blade through the
food. A sawing action is not necessary.
Use a carving fork to steady the meat.
This will help to carve straight slices.
Remove any skewers before carving
meat or chicken. String can be left
around rolled meat.
To keep the blades sharp, do not cut
through bones, pips or stones.
Using the coarse tooth blade
The coarse tooth blade (7) can be used
for cutting frozen foods.
