Supplement to the manual
If a set alarm threshold is exceeded, and the corres-
ponding value is displayed on the transmitter's screen
( 12.3.), a brief press ( ) on the 3-D digi-adjuster
takes you directly back to the last manually selected
screen display.
12.2.1. Display of the actual receiver
battery voltage
** If you are using a telemetry-capable M-LINK recei-
ver, the actual voltage of the receiver battery (in Volts)
is output at address 0 by default:
The factory default address for the receiver battery vol-
tage can be altered at the receiver using the RX Data-
Manager PC program (free download from www.multi-
plex-rc.de) in conjunction with the PC connecting lead
(# 8 5149) or the MULTImate (# 8 2094).
12.2.2. Display of the LQI value
(Link Quality Indication)
** If you are using a telemetry-capable M-LINK recei-
ver, the link quality (in %) is output at address1 by
default (LQI = Link Quality Indication):
The factory default address for the link quality can be
altered at the receiver using the RX DataManager PC
program (free download from www.multiplex-rc.de) in
conjunction with the PC connecting lead (# 8 5149) or
the MULTImate (# 8 2094).

Connecting external M-LINK sensors

If you connect external M-LINK sensors to a telemetry-
capable M-LINK receiver, additional telemetry data can
be sent to the C SX M-LINK transmitter, where it

will be displayed on the screen.
A maximum of eight telemetry values can be displayed
on the transmitter's screen.
Examples of external M-LINK sensors:
Voltage sensor (# 8 5400).
Temperature sensor (# 8 5402).
Current sensor:
100 A (# 8 5401) or 35 / 60 A (# 8 5403).
Rev-count sensor:
Optical (# 8 5414) or magnetic (# 8 5415).
Vario / altimeter sensor (# 8 5416).

threshold, the facility to display minimum, average or
maximum values, activating a second measurement
channel, ...) please refer to the instructions supplied
with the individual sensors.
The sensors can be configured to suit individual
requirements using the MULTImate (# 8 2094) or the
Sensor DataManager PC program (free download
from www.multiplex-rc.de) in conjunction with the PC
connecting lead (# 8 5149).
12.3.
If you are using a telemetry-capable M-LINK receiver
and M-LINK sensors, you can set alarm thresholds for
the sensors you are using. This can only be carried out
using the MULTImate (# 8 2094) or the Sensor Data-
Manager PC program (free download from www.mul-
tiplex-rc.de) in conjunction with the PC connecting lead
(# 8 5149).
If an alarm threshold is exceeded, the transmitter
generates an audible warning signal. The screen
display also switches immediately to the corresponding
address (INFO display), so that you can check the
associated telemetry value.
When you have read the value on the screen, a brief
press ( ) on the 3-D digi-adjuster takes you straight
back to the last manually selected screen display.
! Note:
This method of returning to the last manually selected
screen display is only available from within the INFO
displays. If you are in a sub-menu, you will hear the
audible warning, but the display will not switch
automatically.
! Note:
When a telemetry-capable M-LINK receiver is used, the
default value for the receiver battery low voltage war-
ning is 4.5 Volts. If the voltage falls below this value,
the transmitter automatically switches to the correspon-
ding INFO display, and emits an audible warning. It is
possible to alter the warning threshold value using the
MULTImate (# 8 2094) or the RX DataManager (free
download from www.multiplex-rc.de) in conjunction with
the PC connecting lead (# 8 5149).

12.4.
If a vario / altimeter sensor (# 8 5416) is installed in the
model, you can supplement the visual displays with an
audible indicator of climb and sink, and switch it on and
off from the transmitter using the Trainer button
(TEACHER).
The system emits different audible signals for climb
and sink; the repeat rate of the tone varies as the rate
of climb and sink increases.
! Note:
In Trainer mode the TEACHER button has a reserved
function: it switches control between teacher and pupil.
In this case the audible output for climb and sink is
switched off.
