ST400 Orientation: Refer to Dwg. 47615017-2 (SAE 3) or 47615017-3 (SAE 1). The flange is fully
adjustable, housing is marked every 30 degrees. If orientation angle is not specified you will
receive -000 like shown. The inlet and exhaust is none adjustable.

Orientation of the Starter
If the factory orientation will not fit your engine, the flange may be adjusted by following these
three steps.
- Loosen the six flange screws
- Rotate flange to desired location
- Apply tread locker to threads and torque screws to torque to 14 lb-ft (19 Nm)

When product life has expired, it is recommended that the product be disassembled, degreased
and parts be separated by material for proper recycling.
