13. Carefully pull the excess multicable back out through the gasket.
14. Make sure the clamp is in place, insert the braided shield coil into the ground clip and
tighten the screws.

• The shields and the clamp surfaces must be in complete contact with each other so that
the multicable is grounded.
• Make sure that the multicable jacket is firmly secured by the clamp.
• Make sure all surfaces and contacts are clean and free from scrap shield material.
15. Connect the network cables to the external network connectors (RJ45, SFP) as required.
Note
An SFP module (not included) must be used when connecting an optical fiber cable.
16. If used, connect an I/O device to the external I/O connector.
17. Connect the power cable (DC input) to the power connector (DC input) via the terminal
block plug.
18. Attach the ground wire to the ground screw.
