1 Introduction
The Sandberg Wireless Battery-Free Mouse is
a wireless optical mouse unlike any other
wireless mice. There is no need for tiresome
battery changes and slow recharging. What you
get is a smart, light mouse without heavy
batteries, so you even save the cost of these
too. Simply place the mouse on the mouse pad,
which is connected to your computer's USB port.
The mouse takes the necessary power from the
mouse pad via electromagnetic induction. The
mouse's optical controls ensure optimal
precision, and the wide scroll wheel with
ergonomic finger groove makes it easy to scroll
through menus and documents.
2 Installation in Windows
1. Place the mouse on the mouse pad and
connect the mouse pad USB cable to your
computer's USB port.
2. Windows reports that it has found new
hardware and installs the driver automatically.
3. When installation is complete, press the
"Tune" button on the mouse pad.
The mouse is now ready for use.

3 Using the mouse
The pad has two LEDs. The red "PWR" LED is
always on. The green "RUN" LED lights up when
the mouse is moved.
If the "PWR" LED begins to flash, or if the cursor
moves unevenly or not at all, you can press the
"Tune" button, which will cause the mouse to
switch to another transmission frequency.
NB:
• The mouse pad should not be placed on metal
tables or other metal surfaces, as these may
cause interference that can affect the use of
the mouse.
• There should be a distance of at least 20 cm
between the mouse pad and your monitor
(does not apply to LCD monitors).
