DESCRIPTION.
SET/RESET switch for emergency call system, location in the
dark, 2 NO relay outputs 5 A 250 V~ for acoustic and optical
signals, supply voltage 12 V~ 50-60 Hz or 12-24 V d.c. (SELV)
- 2 modules.
CHARACTERISTICS.
• supply voltage:
- 12-24 V d.c. ±10%
- 12 V~ ±10% 50-60 Hz
• absorption: approximately 100 mA with active alarm outputs

• front switch: SET push button
• two-colour LED:
- green: equipment supplied
- red: alarm activated
• input:
- normally closed connected to positive (+) terminal for SET
function
- normally closed connected to positive (+) terminal for RESET
function
• alarm output RL1: relay NO 5 A 250 V~ with double insulation
with respect to power supply and push buttons
• alarm output RL2: relay NO 5 A 250 V~ with double insulation
with respect to power supply and push buttons
• controllable loads:
- purely resistive loads : 5 A
- incandescent lamps : 500 W
- magnetic core transformers for very low voltage incandescent
lamps (for example, halogen lamps)
• not suitable to control fluorescent lamps directly.
OPERATION.
• When the mains supply voltage is present on the device, the
two-colour LED lights up green.
• Pressing the SET push button on the equipment or an exter-
nal SET push button triggers call mode (alarm)
- the two-colour LED lights up red and starts blinking.
- alarm relay RL1 is asserted for 3 seconds approx.: gener-
ally it is connected to a bell/buzzer.
- alarm relay RL2 is asserted for 5 seconds approx. and
then intermittently at intervals of 1 second approx.: it is gener-
ally connected to a red prismatic lamp.
• The alarm state is cancelled by issuing the RESET switch
from one of the external push buttons.
• Simultaneously pressing the SET and RESET push buttons
enables the SET function.
• There can be any number of SET or RESET push buttons,
which must be connected in series.
INSTALLATION RULES.
• Installation should be carried out by qualified staff in compli-
ance with the current regulations regarding the installation of
electrical equipment in the country where the products are
installed.
• The output circuit must be protected against overcurrents by
installing a fuse with a rated breaking capacity of 1500 A with
rated current not exceeding 5 A.

The minimum installation.
ATTENTION: The minimum installation configuration requires at least one RESET push button and, if there are no external SET
push buttons, a wire connection between the SET output and the positive terminal.
