Concern:
Washer top will not open in the conventional way by sliding a plastic putty knife into the
front right and left corners to disengage top latch.
On the new Cabrio and Bravos 1.75 washers, the top is held on with a channel in the front
and two screws at the rear. (This is the same attachment used in the VMW platform.)
Refer to the instructions below to open the cabinet top.
NEW TOP ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Turn off water supply to washer.
3. Tape the lid down.
4. Remove top screw from each hinge (2) (see figure 1).
