Take a strip of Plumber's Tape (M) and wrap it clockwise
around the threads of the Spout Handle HOT (B) water line
before tightening the connections (See Figure 8). Connect
end of Supply Line (L) and tighten in a clockwise direction.
Repeat with Spout Handle COLD (C).

Attach Supply Lines (L) to shutoff valves (Figure10).
Tighten with wrench until secure (Figure 11).

NOTE:
Before tightening the faucet connector to the Supply
Line (L), apply a second wrench to the supply tube
fitting as shown in Figure 9. This will prevent the supply
tube from moving or twisting when tightening the
faucet connector. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
