1.1 Front side

1 Volume control VOL

3 Foldable bracket for inclining the monitor

eras; to open the cover, firmly press the spot indi-
cated by the arrow in fig. 1

8 Low voltage jacks for the power supply of the cam-

10 Phono video input for connection of the video out-
put of the first camera or another signal source
11 Phono audio input for connection of the audio out-
put of the first camera or another signal source
12 Phono video input for connection of the video out-
put of the second camera or another signal source
13 Phono audio input for connection of the audio out-
put of the second camera or another signal source
14 Brightness control
15 Contrast control
16 Control for the picture synchronization
17 Phono audio output for passing on the selected
camera signal e. g. to an additional monitor or to a
video recorder

2 Safety Notes

The units (monitor and plug-in power supply unit) cor-
respond to all required directives of the EU and are
therefore marked with
WARNING The monitor and the power supply unit
operate with hazardous high voltage.
Leave servicing to skilled personnel
only. Never make any modification on
the units and do not insert anything
through the air vents of the monitor
housing. Inexpert handling may cause
an electric shock hazard.
It is essential to observe the following items:

The picture tube is vacuous.
In case of mechanical damage there is
an implosion hazard and scattered
glass may cause injuries.

The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect

them against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).
Do not place any vessels filled with liquid, e. g. drink-

ing glasses, on the monitor.
Do not set the monitor into operation, and immedi-
G
ately disconnect the power supply unit from the
mains socket if
1. there is visible damage to one of the units,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or simi-
lar accident,
3. malfunctions occur.
The units must in any case be repaired by skilled
personnel.
The heat being generated in the monitor must be
G
carried off by air circulation. Therefore, the air vents
at the housing must not be covered.
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use
G
chemicals or water.
No guarantee claims for the units and no liability for
G
any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the units are used for other pur-
poses than originally intended, if they are not cor-
rectly connected, operated, or not repaired in an
expert way.
If the units are to be put out of operation
definitively, take them to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful to the
environment.
