8 STORAGE
8.1

Storing the appliance

Thoroughly clean the appliance after every use to
avoid any damage:
1. Cleaning the appliance:
Allow all the water to drain out of the ap-
pliance and the hose before placing the
appliance into storage.
Clean the complete appliance and the ac-
cessories using a clean cloth and soft
brush. Do not use petrol or other solvents!
2. Hang up the appliance in a dry, frost-free
place out of the reach of children.

Cause
The lock of the multi-spray
nozzle is loose.
The multi-spray nozzle is
clogged.
There is still water in the
high-pressure cleaning lance
and the pump after the appli-
ance has been switched off.
The detergent bottle is
clogged.
The rechargeable battery
has not been inserted cor-
rectly.
The rechargeable battery is

Remedy
Tighten the lock using a Allen key.
Replace it with a new multi-spray noz-
zle.
Allow the water to drain completely be-
fore placing the appliance into storage.
Clean the detergent bottle with clean
water.
Push the rechargeable battery into the
holder until it engages.
Recharge the battery or replace it with a
new rechargeable battery.
Replace the rechargeable battery.
Hold the appliance upright so that the
water can drain out.
Allow the appliance to dry for at least 24
hours.
Check the connection between hose
adapter and hose.
Recharge the battery or replace it with a
new rechargeable battery.
Remove the multi-spray nozzle and
switch on the appliance. Replace the
multi-spray nozzle if the appliance func-
tions normally.

Storing the rechargeable battery and
charging unit
DANGER! Danger of explosion and fire!
Persons will be fatally or severely injured if the
rechargeable battery explodes because it was
stored in front of naked flames or heat sources.
Store the rechargeable battery in cool and
dry conditions, but not in front of naked
flames or heat sources.
NOTE When charging, the rechargeable
battery is protected from overcharging due to au-
tomatic detection of the charge status and thus
can remain connected to the charging unit for
some time, but not permanently.
