L40 Blue Wire Service Kit
A. Removal of the original wires.
1. Remove the two screws securing the cover to the
control box. See Fig.1.

2. Locate the two blue wires from the harness and cut
them to 4 inches. See Fig. 2.

Disconnect the blue wire terminals from
the gas control valve
3. Loosen the liquid tight nut and pull the blue wires
through the connector. Disconnect and discard the blue
wires from the gas control valve. See Fig. 2.

B. Installation of new wires
1. Strip the end of the blue harness wires in the control
