Timer
• Timer setting range is from 1 minute up to 23 hours, 59
minutes.
• When the time displayed is above 1 hour, the time is formatted
as Hours : Minutes
• When the time displayed is below 1 hour, the time is
formatted as Minutes' Seconds"
• To clear Timer settings, press and hold TIMER Button.
Countdown
Press UP or DOWN Buttons until desired time appears on Timer
display.
Press TIMER Button to start countdown.
To stop Timer at any time, press TIMER Button.
To restart after stopping, press TIMER Button.
Timer alert: Receiver will emit short beeps. 0:00 will flash on
display.
Press any key to stop Timer alert.
Count up
Press TIMER Button to start count up.
To stop Timer at any time, press TIMER Button.
To restart after stopping, press TIMER Button.
Timer stops at 24:00. Timer alert will beep and display will
flash.
Count up can only be started when Timer display reads 0:00.
Quick Hints for Using the Receiver:
• To activate LCD backlight at any time, press any key on
Receiver when powered ON.
• Quick scroll feature is programmed into UP and DOWN
Buttons. To scroll quickly, press and hold buttons.
• If no buttons are pressed after :05 in SET mode, the current
flashing selection will become selected by default.
• If a meat option is not selected, beef is the default selection.
• If a recommended doneness option is not selected, WELL
DONE is the default selection.
• When Probe 1 and Probe 2 are set and active, Receiver display
will alternate between both probes every :03.
• The Thermometer measures temperatures as low as 32°F
(0°C) and as high as 390°F (199°C). "LLL" will be displayed
below 32°F (0°C) and "HHH" will be displayed above 390°F
(199°C).
Receiver Range:
Receiver works within 250 feet (76 meters) of Transmitter.
Within :60 of losing a connection, the unit will alert you with
both an audio warning of 3 short beeps every :10 and a Current
Temperature reading of "---".
To regain connection, move closer to Transmitter.
If Receiver does not reconnect within :30 of moving closer to
Transmitter, reset devices:
Power OFF Receiver, wait :05, then power ON.
Power OFF Transmitter, wait :05, then power ON.
Receiver Alerts:
• Food is within 10°F (5°C) of Target Temperature: Beeps 6x.
• Food at Target Temperature: Short repeating beeps and
flashing Quick-Read Bars and Temperature displays. Press
any key to stop alert.
• Probe disconnected: Continuous beep. Press any key to stop
alert; then reconnect Probe.
• Timer is flashing 0:00 and repeating beeps are sounding,
indicating that the time set has expired. Press any key to stop
alert.
• Receiver has been taken outside of the Transmitter range.
Refer to instructions for Receiver Range to reconnect. Press
any key to stop alert.
In order to prolong the life of this Thermometer,
Weber does NOT recommend:
• Leaving Receiver in rain.
• Submerging Receiver, Transmitter or Probes under water.
• Mixing old and new batteries or different brands of
batteries.
General Care and Usage:
• After each use, clean stainless steel Probes with hot, soapy
water and dry thoroughly. Never immerse Probes in water
while cleaning.
• Wipe the Transmitter and Receiver with damp cloth.
• To prolong the life of the Thermometer, always store indoors
between uses.
• Recommended for use with barbecues or ovens only.
• When using Thermometer with a charcoal kettle or smoker,
use care when placing lid on wire. Excessive force can crush
the wire, making it inoperable.
• Always keep the silicone plugs inserted into the jack openings
when Probes are not being used.
• Always keep all components away from contact with flames.
Direct contact with fire will cause damage to the device.
• Always keep plugs and jack openings free from water or other
fluids. Exposure to moisture can create poor connections and/
or faulty readings.
• Always power ON Receiver first, and then power ON
Transmitter; this will reduce the chances of pairing
difficulties.
m WARNING: Keep the stainless steel probe sensors and
wires away from children.

General Troubleshooting:

Problem: Why doesn't my screen show a "doneness" selection?
Solution: A Personalised Temperature was set, overriding
the Recommended Temperature. To reset to a Recommended
Temperature, go through the steps outlined in "Setting Target
Temperatures."
Problem: No Current Temperature reading.
Solutions: Confirm that the Probe has not been unplugged from
the Transmitter. Insert plug if necessary to resume.
Confirm the Transmitter is working correctly. Press POWER
button ON Transmitter to reset. If LED blinks 3x, Transmitter is
working correctly. If not, reset by following the steps outlined in
Pairing Instructions.
Problem: Current Temperature reads "LLL."
Solution: Probe temperature is below 32°F (0°C). Wait for
Probe to reach room temperature. If problem persists and
temperature is above 32°F (0°C), internal probe wire may
be damaged. Reset device. If problem persists, Contact the
Customer Service representative in your area using the contact
information on our web site. Log onto www.weber.com
Problem: Current Temperature reads "HHH."
Solution: Probe temperature is above 390°F (199°C). Wait for
Probe to reach room temperature. If problem persists and
temperature is below 390°F (199°C), internal probe wire may
be damaged. Reset device. If problem persists, Contact the
