3.4.5.3. Hold the filter by the edges and "TAP CLEAN"
on a hard, flat surface until the dust particles are
removed from between the pleats of the filter.
3.4.5.4. The HEPA type filter may also be washed with
lukewarm water by holding it under a running tap and
allowing the water to run on the dirty side. We recom-
mend washing it at least once a month depending on
how often you use it or when the suction appears to
reduce.
3.4.5.5. Always allow the filter to air dry for at least 24
hours before placing it back into the vacuum.
NB Ensure the filter is completely dry before placing
back into the vacuum.
3.4.5.6. Reinstall the filter into the dust cover and click
it back onto the dust bin.
Please Note that it is normal for the filter to discolor
over time, this will not affect the performance of the
filter.
3.4.6 Reinstalling the dust bin:
3.4.6.1. Ensure that the small intake air vent on the
dust bin is aligned with the opening on the main unit.
3.4.6.2. Slide the dust bin into place and push back
until you hear it lock into place.
CAUTION: The suction hole must be open and free of
any obstructions at all times. Otherwise, the motor will
overheat and could become damaged.
Warning: Always empty the dust bin container and

clean the HEPA type filter after each use and during
prolonged usage.
Never over fill the dust bin container, remove dirt and
clean the HEPA type filter when dirt in dust bin is at or
just below the "MAX" level during prolonged usage or
risk motor damage.
If you wash the HEPA type filter, ensure that it is com-
pletely air dry before inserting back in the vacuum.
Please Note: The HEPA type filter is washable. It
should, however, be replaced when damaged. Replace-
ment filters are available at Creative Housewares.
