Application
The Ubbink aeration pumps of the Air series are ideal for constant aeration of your pond. The air supply ensures that your fish will get sufficient oxygen. Still, a sufficient large quantity
of oxygen producing plants will be required. The aeration pumps can also help keeping an opening in the ice in winter. For this purpose, the air flow stone can be placed under an
Ubbink device for keeping free from ice.

Safety regulations

• The power supply must correspond to the product specifications. If necessary, ask for information from your local electricity supplier regarding connection regulations. Do not
connect the pump or the net cable, if these do not meet the mentioned regulations!
• The aeration pump should be operated via a fault-current circuit breaker (FI-switch) with a nominal fault current ≤ 30mA.
• Never remove the plug by cutting it off from the cable and never shorten the cable. Your guarantee becomes invalid immediately, if this regulation is not observed.
• Always switch the power supply fist off for positioning/ removing the air flow stone or for servicing the aeration pump.
• The device must only be used for the purpose, for which it has been designed.
• In case of visible damage to the housing or cable, the aeration pump must be switched off immediately in order to prevent injury hazards. Replacement of the cable is not possible.
If the cable is damaged, the aeration pump must be disposed.
Start-up
• Please read this operating instruction thoroughly and keep it.
• The aeration pump can be installed inside as well as outdoors. In case of placing it in the outdoor area, a safety clearance of 2 m to the garden pond should be maintained.
• Please always ensure that the aeration pump is positioned higher than the water level, so that no water can enter the pump via the air hose and cause a short circuit in there.
• Position the air flow stone in the pond in such a way that it hangs freely in the water or lies on a base, which keeps it away from the pond bottom. If the stone lies on the pond
bottom, the air flowing out can swirl the existing sludge/sediment deposits, which would cloud over the pond water.
• The air flow stone can also be inserted into a pond filter to enrich the water to be filtered directly with oxygen and promote the growth of nitrifying bacteria.
• Uncoil the hose up to the aeration pump.
• Straighten the air hose on the air outlet nozzles at the aeration pump
• Start-up aeration pump
• The air supply can be regulated stepless with the rotational controller (High/low) at the top of the aeration pump.

wrongful acts by a third-party, overloading and foreign objects, as well as all damage to parts resulting from wear and tear, are not covered by this guarantee.
By virtue of the Product Liability Act, we are not liable for damage caused by our equipment, if this is the result of inexpert repairs.
