Description
This soldering station is designed to meet the present and future needs of the electronic production
•
industry. The soldering station is engineered to meet the stringent demands of hobbyist,
maintenance personnel, and production staff alike.
The electronic circuitry enables you to set soldering temperatures between 150 and 480 °C (302 to
•
896 °F) without replacing the tip. The temperature is maintained to within ± 5 °C (± 9 °F) of the
normal operating temperature.
Heater fail detection: If the heater circuit fails, the display shows "HFFE" and heater power is cut.
•
Temperature lock features: The temperature can be locked with a password for use in a production
•
line.
The "zero voltage" switching design protects voltage and current sensitive components (such as
•
CMOS devices) against transient voltage spikes that can be caused by switching the power or heater
on/off, or other environmental conditions.
The highly insulated ceramic heating element and 80 W power result in rapid heatFup, instant
•
recovery, and superior heat transmission.
The ergonomic and slender handle with a comfortable rubber grip prevents operator fatigue. The
•
soldering iron is attached to the base unit using a nonFburning silicone rubber cord.
The tip is grounded through the power unit to ensure leakage of less than 0.4 mV.
