4.3.2 Trend pointer
The trend pointer displayed on the LCD indicates if the water temperature (channel 1) is increasing,
steady or decreasing.
4.3.3 Maximum/Minimum function
Press "MAXIMIN" button to show the maximum (MAX) temperature of the indoor sensor and the
selected outdoor transmitter. Press "MAXIMIN" button again to show minimum (MIN) values.
Hold "MAXIMIN" button for 3 seconds to clear the recorded maximum and minimum reading.
4.3.4 Temperature alert
Press "ALERT" button to set the temperature alert function on or off. ( appears on the LCD if this
function is on).
Hold "ALERT" button for 3 seconds to enter the Alert setting mode. Indoor temperature flashes.
Press „▲" or „▼" button to select indoor or outdoor temperature and the requested channel for the
temperature alert. Press "ALERT" button to confirm the settings. Press „▲" or „▼" button to set the
upper temperature limit (upwards arrow is flashing). Press "ALERT" button to confirm the settings.
Press „▲" or „▼" button to set the lower temperature limit (downwards arrow is flashing).
When passing or falling below the selected temperature limit an alarm signal will sound for 5 seconds
and the temperature display begins to flash. The alarm signal keeps on beeping every minute as long
as the temperature is higher/lower than the preset value (5 times maximum) or the ALERT button is
pressed.
Attention: Is the temperature within the preset limits the display stops flashing.
5. Outdoor thermo sensor
After starting up the sensor will automatically transmit the temperature values to the display unit.
Press "°C/°F" button on the thermo sensor unit to change the temperature unit on the sensor display from °C
to °F.
Press "TX" button on the thermo sensor unit to transmit temperature to the weather station manually (e.g. for
testing or in case of loss of transmitter signal). The display unit gives a "beep" sound if it received the
temperature.
5.1 Additional outdoor sensor
The unit is expandable up to 3 outdoor transmitters, also for the control of outdoor temperature and
remote rooms, e.g. children's room, wine-cellar.
For having more than on external transmitter, select different channels for each sensor by the
"CHANNEL" switch. The new transmitter will be received automatically by the display unit. The pool
sensor is firmly adjusted to channel 1.
The temperature measured by the sensor is shown on the display of the display unit. If you have
installed more than one transmitter, press "CHANNEL" button to change between the outdoor
transmitters.
You can also choose an alternating channel display. Press "CHANNEL" button. After the last
registered channel a circle symbol appears (Display for channel 1, for channel 2 or for channel 3
and for alternating channel).
To cancel an unused channel hold "CHANNEL" button for 3 seconds. If a new channel is received it
will be automatically registered again.
6. Positioning of display unit and transmitter
The pool sensor floats on the water surface and measures the temperature in a water depth of about 100
mm. You can fix the pool sensor by a fastening rope.
Place the display unit at the final position. Avoid the vicinity of any interfering field like computer monitors or
TV sets and solid metal objects.
Check the transmission of the signal from the transmitter to the display unit (transmission range 30 m free
field, within ferro-concrete rooms, especially with metal parts, the received signal is naturally weakened.
If necessary chose another position for transmitter and/or display unit.

7. Battery Replacement
When the batteries in the pool sensor (channel 1) are used up, low battery icon appears on the
display of the main unit.
Open the battery compartment of the transmitter (screwed).
Use alkaline batteries only. Observe correct polarity. Low batteries should be changed soon to avoid
the damage resulting from a leaking battery.
After successful installation screw up the battery compartment of transmitter carefully.
Attention:
Please do not dispose of old electronic devices and used batteries in house hold waste. To protect the
environment, take them to your retail store or to nearest civic amenity site to be disposed of according to
national or local regulations.
8. Notes
Always read the users manual carefully before operating the unit.
Please switch off the pool sensor (pressing "TX" button and "°C/°F" button at the same time) if not
using it for a long time.
Use a pin to press the "RESET" button if the unit does not work properly.
Avoid placing the clock near interference sources/metal frames such as computer or TV sets.
Do not expose the instrument to extreme temperatures, vibration or shock.
