THREE-PHASE HEAT CONTROLLER mod. STAR 5
DESCRIPTION
The STAR5 heat controller is designed to operate with three-phase systems that have a star configuration;
therefore, it uses not only three phase 380 VAC, but also neutral. This controller has a 3kW output for each
phase. It can also be used in single-phase systems by connecting the three terminals L1-L2-L3 together. This
will create a single-phase regulator with 9kW distributed on three loads.
OPERATION
The operation is based on the principle of phase control and this module is capable of varying the power on
the three loads from 0 to 98% gradually with manual controls (potentiometer) or by automatically operating
via sensors or electronic devices capable of delivering voltages from 0-10V.
APPLICATION
The possibilities for using STAR5 are many and range from single module to multiple module applications. In
the case of a single control for each module there is no limit to the number of modules; if you would like to
connect modules in parallel to control them at the same time, the maximum number of modules for each
control is eight.
