The module can be used to directly connect up to 4
push buttons each having a double function (long or
short press, programmable at 1, 2 or 3 seconds) or
up to 8 push buttons and/or sensors.
If Simon Urmet push buttons (SU code: 10108 or
10108.B) are used, it is possible to connect in paral-
lel one of the 6 feedback leds 1071/17.
Each input can be used to manage ON/OFF relays,
to drive dimmers, rolling shutters, awnings, to acti-
vate scenarios etc.
Electric characteristics
• Powered by the Bus: 1 CU*, including current
consumption of feedback leds, if present
• Bus termination configurable by jumper: TERM
• 8 non optoisolated inputs and one common, with
20 cm long cables
*
In detail: CU = 0,5 + 0,0625 x N, where N is the number of the
inputs used (N=1...8)

NOTE: the coloured cables used for the connec-
tion to the push buttons must NOT be extended,
otherwise the device will not work properly.
If there is need to install a push button or a sensor
far away from the input module, please use an input
module 1071/7.
Logical characteristics
• Configurable with IPerSet software, via USB (see
1071/56)
• Up to 254 logical addresses
• Each push button can be programmed with two
functions: short (less than 1 s) or long press
(programmable at 1, 2 or 3 seconds)
• Event scheduler with 3 different programs, used to
'virtually activate' the inputs
The "virtual activation" can be set at fixed times or
at "wakeup time", "bedtime", sunrise or sunset.
Periodicity (weekly, monthly etc.) can be freely
selected
• The "current program" can be selected / dese-
lected, e.g. in order to activate it only during ab-
sence periods
• Each single input can be configured as NO
(default) or NC
