A. Installing the brackets
1)
Mark a vertical line between the ceiling and the floor
at the level where you intend to install the hood.
The line will determine the axis of installation of the
device.
2)
Mark a horizontal line above the stove top (400 mm
for an electric panel, 450 mm for a gas stove). This
designates the underside of the hood [1].
3)
Place the upper grille mounting bracket [5] against
the wall, approx. 20mm from the ceiling surface or
the upper limit of the installation space.
4)
Mark the spots for holes in the mounting bracket.
5)
Mark the spots for two hood mounting screws at 395
mm above the underside of the hood.
6)
Mark the spots for two hood mounting screws at 242
mm below those mentioned in point 5.
7)
Drill ø10mm holes in the marked locations.
8)
Place the wall anchors and screws in the drilled holes.
B. Installing the hood
1)
Hang the hood on the mounting screws
2)
Align the device and tighten the mounting screws.
EN
C. Flap installation
1)
Attach the flaps to the air outlet [12].
2)
Correctly fastened flaps should be easy to open and
close.
D. Installing telescopic grilles
1)
Carefully slide the top grille [3] into the bottom grille
[2].
2)
Place the bottom grille [2] at the marked area on the
surface of the hood main module [1].
3)
Install the grille [2] on the previously prepared
mounting bracket and secure with screws.
4)
Carefully pull the upper grille out [3], and then install
the grille on the previously prepared mounting
bracket.
5)
Secure the grille with screws.
When you finish the hood installation, connect the device
to the power source.
3.3. DEVICE USE
OPERATING MODES
The device can work in two modes:
A. Extraction mode
a)
In the extraction mode, the device is connected to a
ventilation duct and draws air out of the building.
b)
Before assembling the hood as a kitchen hood,
make sure that the extraction area has been selected
correctly, and that the selected ventilation channel is
not used as a gas exhaust flue.
c)
A simple and short ventilation channel will allow the
device to work most efficiently.
d)
Make sure that the connections are correctly
insulated, and the exhaust outlet is properly
protected outside the building wall.
e)
Connect the hood outlet to the ventilation duct
using a ø 150 mm conduit.
f)
The discharge pipe should installed permanently,
without bends reducing its cross-section.
g)
No carbon filters are used when operating in the
kitchen hood mode.
10
B. Absorber mode
a)
In the filter mode, the device works on the principle
of indoor air circulation; it is not connected to the
ventilation duct.
b)
Do not use rigid metal or plastic conduits.
c)
In the filter mode, suitable carbon filters must be
used.
CONTROL
The device is controlled by means of buttons on the front
panel of the hood main module.
1)
Press the [a] button to start the fan.
2)
Press the [b], [c] or [d] button to change the fan
speed.
3)
Press the [e] button to turn the lighting on/off.
4)
When you have finished the work, press the [a]
button to stop the fan.
3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
FILTER MAINTENANCE

Before refitting, make sure that the filter clips are
on the underside of the filter and that filter inlet
openings match the openings in the hood's main
module.
7)
Install a fat filter and make sure it has been secured
before using the device.
8)
Lower the hinged filter cover until it is secure in its
original position.
