Initial Operation
Setting up
– Unpack the sawing machine and inspect for any
damaged parts.
– Install the legs in the sockets at the underside of
the water container and fasten with the knobs.
– Level the sawing machine by adjusting the legs in
the sockets and make sure its stable.
Functional test for the PRCD protective
switch*
13
The machine must be switched off (On/Off
switch 2) when carrying out the functional
test of the PRCD protective switch 13.
Before commencing work, check that the PRCD pro-
tective switch is functioning properly:
– Press the «ON» button on the PRCD protective
switch.
– Press the «TEST» button.
The control lamp must go off.
Cooling system
Operating the water pump without a suffi-
cient supply of water may result in pump
damage.
– Place the plug in the drain of the water container.
– Fill up the container with water until the water
pump 7 is completely submerged.
Saw head
– Unscrew the transportation lock 14.
– By loosening the knob 15 the saw head can be
positioned at the desired cutting depth.
The saw head is tightened by a spring and
may accidentally jump up when the knob is
loosened.
– For one-step cutting, lower the saw head until the
saw is approx. 10 mm. below the saw table.
– When cutting hard materials it is recommended
to do it in multiple steps.
– Adjust the saw head for the first cut and gradually
increase the cutting depth. The number of steps is
dependent on the type of saw and the material.
For 45° Miter sawing the upper frame with the saw
head can be tilted at a 45° angle. By loosening the
2 handles 9 at the front and back of the machine,
the upper frame can be tilted until the end of the fac-
tory predefined 45° angle.

Switching On/Off
Switching on: Press the On/Off switch 2
(position „1").
Switching off: Press the On/Off switch 2
(position „0").
Overload Protection
The motor is equipped with a thermal safety switch
for protection against an overload. When the motor
gets overheated the switch falls back into its initial
position and can only be switched on again after the
motor is cooled down. The switch is also protecting
against power failure. When the power returns, the
motor will not start on its own but must be switched
on by hand.
Mounting the saw blade
Make sure you disconnect the machine from
the power supply before fitting or switching
the saw blade or when performing any
maintenance on the machine.
– Unscrew the knob and remove the sawcover.
– Flange nut 5 with the wrench and remove the saw
flange 4.
(Attention: Left-handed screw thread)
– Clean the saw flanges 3 and 4.
– Fit the saw blade on the centre ring of the motor
flange 3.
– (Check the direction of rotation and make sure the
blade is well centred)
– Mount saw flange 4 and tighten with the flange
nut 5 Place saw cover and tighten with the
2 knobs.
– Attach the sawcover.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
mains plug.
– The cooling water should be replaced and/or
replenished regularly.
– It is recommended to clean the water container,
pump, hoses and spray nozzle on a regular
basis. For example, place the pomp in a bucket of
clean water after the sawing job and run the
machine for a minute or so. This also guarantees
a longer lifetime of the pump.
