tips for Recording a Choir

• Use a condenser mic for recording vocalists. They usually work better than dynamic mics for vocals.
• U se multiple mics. If possible, place them above the choir and aimed down.
• Try positioning two mics in the middle and aim them toward the vocalists in the back corners.Place the mics
least three times the distance from each other as from the vocalists.
• T ry using an omnidirectional mic. It will capture both the choir and the sound resonating in the room.
