Application
Can be used in conjunction with: Pressurised storage heaters,
thermally and hydraulically controlled instantaneous heaters.
Operation with low-pressure displacement water heaters is
not possible!
Specifications
• Flow pressure
min. 0.5 bar / recommended 1 - 5 bar
• Operating pressure
• Test pressure
If static pressure is greater than 5 bar, fit pressure reducer.
Avoid major pressure differences between hot and cold water
supply.
• Flow rate at 3 bar flow pressure:
• Temperature
Hot water inlet
Recommended
• Water connection
Installation
Flush pipes thoroughly!
Connect unions as described in enclosed installation
instructions for Easy-fix unions (part no. 12 081).
Fit mixer up to wall.
Observing the dimensional drawings on fold-out page I.
Tighten set screw (A) on hot and cold-water
supply side using the 3mm socket spanner provided
and insert plug (B), see fold-out page II, Fig. [1].
The hot-water supply must be connected on the left and the
cold-water supply on the right.
Open hot and cold-water supply and check connections
for leakage!
Check fitting for correct operation, see Fig. [2].
Operation of automatic diverter on mixer (C), see Fig. [3].
Pulling the lever will release water delivery.
Water will emerge from the bath spout first.
Pull diverter knob
= to divert flow from bath spout to
shower outlet
Press diverter knob
= to divert flow from shower outlet
to bath spout
Flow is diverted automatically from shower outlet to bath spout
when the mixer is turned off.
Temperature limiter
On delivery, the temperature limiter (fitted as standard) is
inoperative.
For commissioning see "Replacing the cartridge" point 1 to 4.
Pull off temperature limiter (H) and, depending on the
maximum temperature required, turn clockwise (to increase
temperature) or anticlockwise (to reduce temperature) and
refit, see Figs. [4] and [5].
Flow rate limiter
This mixer is fitted with a flow rate limiter, permitting an
infinitely individual variable reduction in the flow rate. The
highest possible flow rate is set by the factory before despatch.
The use of flow rate limiters in combination with hydraulic
instantaneous water heaters is not recommended.
For commissioning see "Replacing the cartridge" point 1 to 5,
Figs. [4] and [6].
Maintenance
Inspect and clean all parts, replace as necessary and grease
with special grease (order no. 18 012).
max. 10 bar
16 bar
Shut off the hot and cold water supply!
I. Replacing the cartridge, see Fig. [4].
1. Lever out plug (D).
approx. 38 l/min
2. Loosen set screw with 3mm socket spanner.
3. Pull off lever (E).
max. 80 °C
4. Unscrew cap (G).
(energy saving) 60 °C
5. Pull off temperature limiter (H).
hot - left
6. Remove screws (J) and detach complete cartridge (K).
cold - right
7. Change either the complete cartridge (K) or seals (K1).
Assemble in reverse order.
Observe the correct installation position!
Make sure that the cartridge seals (K1) engage in the
grooves on the housing. Fit screws (J) and tighten evenly
and alternately.
II. Diverter, see Fig. [7].
1. Lever off cap (L).
2. Unscrew nut (M).
3. Pull off diverter knob (N) and cap (O).
4. Unscrew diverter (P).
III.Non-return valve, see Fig. [7].
• Outlet
1. Lever out plug (R).
2. Loosen set screw (S) with 3mm socket spanner.
3. Pull off nipple (T).
4. Remove circlip (U) and pull out non-return valve (V).
• Union
1. Lever out plug (B).
2. Loosen set screw (A) with 3mm socket spanner and pull
off mixer from wall.
3. Remove circlip (W) and pull out non-return valve (X).
IV.Unscrew and clean flow straightener (13 907), see fold-
out page I.
Assemble in reverse order.
Replacement parts, see fold-out page I
( * = special accessories).
