Care and maintenance
As from 2012 onwards, Viega press jaws have gradually been issued with
maintenance label that indicates the next recommended maintenance
date.
The example shows a press jaw that should be inspected in the 3rd quarter
of 2014. After the service has been completed, the Viega service point will
attach a new sticker.
General notice
The press jaws must close completely during pressing. When working
on the floor, make certain no foreign objects can be jammed in.

Lubrication points on press tools
Oil the lubrication points shown here regularly with Viega maintenance
spray model 2499 or machine oil WD 40. Move tools while lubricating.
